Sustainable Development Goal Initiatives with SustyVibes

Melios 10th year anniversary of operations in Nigeria, the Melios team was thrilled to partner with SustyVibes for an event featuring recycling, upcycling, and tree planting sessions. We brought recycling bins, showed the magic of upcycling, planted trees, and had an SDG training session with the students at Okesuna Senior High School, Obalende, Lagos, Nigeria.

Students learned the benefits of recycling plastic to the environment; were taught how to upcycle PET bottles to beautiful furniture and planted trees as memoriam to such a momentous occasion. 

After the events, there were prizes given for innovative suggestions on how to implement sustainability initiatives in their schools and home environment and events were concluded. 

Melios is dedicated to fostering education as a holistic endeavour, encouraging children in their formative years and inculcating habits which would last them a lifetime.
